Quality items, slow shipping

I bought a Ukiyo-e reproduction and a few Tenugui towels from Master Craftsmanship. The quality of the print was quite good, and the towels are lovely, very soft and vibrant. They clearly sell authentic items. Customer service was responsive when I emailed them about a question before ordering. However, the delivery took almost two weeks to get to me in Texas. It wasn't advertised as super fast, but it felt a little long. The packaging was very secure though, everything arrived in perfect condition. Overall, a good place for unique items if you don't mind waiting a bit for delivery.

Good value on a tea set

I was looking for a nice Japanese tea set and found one here during a seasonal sale. The price for the Kyusu teapot and matching cups was really good compared to other sites I checked. I signed up for the newsletter to get an extra discount, which made it even better. Shipping was free, which saved me a bit too. It took 9 days to reach my apartment in NYC, but it was packaged well and arrived safely. Definitely felt like I got my money's worth for such a beautiful set.

Nice Gyuto knife, good experience

I ordered a Gyuto knife from here a couple weeks ago. It got to my place in Ohio in about a week, which was faster than I thought it'd be coming from so far away. The knife feels really good in my hand and it's super sharp. Made dinner prep way easier last night. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it and the whole process was smooth.

Decent experience, small hiccup

I ordered a Nambu Tekki kettle and a set of Hasami porcelain tea cups. The ordering process was straightforward on their website. I got an email confirmation right away. Shipping took about 8 days to reach me in California, which is what I expected for international. Everything was packaged really well, especially the porcelain cups; no breaks or chips. The kettle is solid and heats up nicely. My only minor complaint is that the tracking updates were a bit sparse initially. It felt like it sat in 'processing' for a few days before I saw movement. But once it shipped, it moved quickly.

Consistent quality, great service

I've bought from Master Craftsmanship several times now, starting with a tea set last year and then some Arita ware plates. This time I got a Nambu Tekki kettle. As always, the quality is top-notch, exactly what I expect. Shipping was prompt, and the packaging was really secure, just like with my previous orders. It's why I keep coming back; they're reliable and their products are genuinely beautiful. No surprises, just good stuff.

My new favorite store!

I just got my new Edo Kiriko glass and it's absolutely stunning! The detail is incredible, and it sparkles so beautifully in the light. It arrived in perfect condition, and the shipping was really quick too, got to me in Arizona in just six days. I can't wait to show it off to everyone. I'm already planning my next purchase, maybe some Kutani ware! Seriously, you guys are amazing!

Great knife, good delivery

I ordered a Gyuto knife a few weeks ago. The website was pretty straightforward to navigate, and checkout was easy. It took about 6 days for the knife to arrive in Chicago, which was faster than I expected for something shipping from Japan. The packaging was very secure, plenty of padding so no damage at all. The knife itself is beautiful and very sharp, exactly as described. I haven't needed to contact support, so can't comment there, but the overall experience was smooth. Happy with the purchase.

Good value on a first order

I was looking for a new Santoku knife and saw they had a first-order discount. Got 10% off which was nice. The shipping wasn't free, but the knife itself was good quality for the price I paid. Made the purchase feel worth it, even with the shipping cost. Would buy again.
